Improving Technical Know How Within African Creative Industry

The Africa Creative Summit (ACS) is a conference designed to improve the technical knowledge of professionals in specific spheres of the creative industry in Africa such as Film, Television, Creative-Tech, Music, Radio, Audiovisuals, Light, Media, Entertainment Law and Creative Investment.
This summit will bring together well established organisations, startups, CEOs, entrepreneurs, founders, innovators, investors, policymakers and top players in the creative industry within and outside Africa to exchange knowledge on advance technical skills, equipment, and practical tools usage needed to deliver high quality creative works that meet global standards and emerging market needs.

ACS was founded by our team consisting of business owners and creative professionals, we discovered from an in-depth research that, though high revenues are generated in the African creative industry presently, there are other untapped areas that more proceeds can be gotten from. We also figured out that a wide technical knowledge gap still exists between professionals operating in the African creative industry and those in other continents, which tends to make their works appear below the global standard when compared.
We aim to use ACS as a one stop platform where the absorption capacity of technical knowledge in the African creative industry are increased continuously; ensuring innovative works are developed, business relationships are built, and strong networking occurs between foreign technical experts, and creative professionals in Africa, bringing in more opportunities that will enhance the industry’s growth.

Sessions for expert talks, exhibitions, workshops, questions and answers are embedded in our summit for participants to exchange ideas, learn from top players in the creative industry, display products, services and skills for brand visibility, unveil new technical strategies, practical tools, and functional information.
We organise trainings, seminars and workshops continuously across different countries in Africa anytime need arises.

ACS which is focused on enhancing both technical knowledge and profitability of the creative industry in Africa will be held in Lagos, Nigeria. We welcome applications from businesses, entrepreneurs, stakeholders, decisions makers in African Creative industry, key government officials, consultants, diplomats, and leaders across Africa and beyond.
